Attending [Champagne] “We don’t Learn Anything Tour 2013-2104“at HipShot Japan, Koriyama (Fukushima) on 29.09.2013
Yes! [Champagne]! I was soooooo happy that I finally watched them live. I had been craving for their live since I knew about them.
So, this is a story about our adventure in seeing [champagne] in the hot and cold day in a city that we had never been before.
As I said in the previous post, We took willer bus (Tokyo – Fukushima) from Shinjuku (right after watching My First Story) , and arrived 4.30 AM at Fukushima. Wait… did I write 4.30 AM? haha.. yes. We got off of the bus very early in the morning on the Fukushima road (I didn’t know the name of the street, but it was on the street, not a building). So, based on our map, which i remembered, it was said, the drop-off point is near the station, so after we got off, we… no, I didn’t see the map, since we were too sleepy and tired to take something out from our bag, so I said to my friend, let’s just follow others, they must be headed to station. There were 6 persons who got off from the bus excluding us, and guess what happened. The bus stopped at the intersection, and 2 of them went straight, 2 of them turned right, and the rest turned left. haaah! Then my friend said to go to that nearest konbini, to buy some foods/drinks and make ourselves warm, it was freaking cold! later I knew it was 14 degree! for tropical people like us, it was cold, and yes, I didn’t bring my jacket, only pashmina. so yeah, it’s cold.
Finally, after konbini time, we could find the Station, and yes, the station was still closed since it was around 5 AM and it opens around 6 AM!. so we decided to take the basement of the station (glad they didn’t lock it, well I didn’t see any doors to the basement actually) . We just sit there in front of the elevator, ate, drank, at least it was warmer, but still… cold, me.. jacket-less.. after around 5.30 AM, we decided to take a walk around, and went upstairs, you know it’s getting cold if you just sat still. and fyi, we saw some homeless there.
We took the first train to Koriyama, it took around 40-50 minutes and we slept during that train trip.lol
Arrived at Koriyama Station around 7 AM, we had no idea where to go since all shops still closed, so we decided to just stayed inside the station, sat on the bench, slept. Around 10 AM we went out to Starbucks and got some hot coffee, like finally …. civilized situation! lol
After had some lunch (that delicious cheap pasta restaurant in Koriyama Station :9) , we’re heading to the venue, to queue for goods.
There were ppl started lining up for goods, I really want their tote bag, but unfortunately it was sold out! (i guess they didn’t sell it at this venue, since i didn’t saw ppl bought it)
Put our stuffs at Station’s locker, then going back to the venue, waited our numbers to be called. This time, our numbers was good :DDDD
Got inside the venue, I chose Makun’s side (like i’ve said before, i’m too old for the center) , yeay! excited!
Lights off! People started to packed! [champagne]’s out, ppl did more pushing, and jreeeeeeng! ppl jumped!
Youhei wore black suit and white clothes, Hiro & Maakun black clothes, Satoyasu……didn’t wear clothes..haha..
I forgot the setlist! seriously! I’ve searched ppl’s blogs but I couldn’t find the setlist! My head was not good enough to survive – being emotional – remember the setlist at the same time!
And it’s been 2 months away, so I’ll try to recall it. This is random, Waitress! Waitress! I remember I couldn’t standing still, since ppl were jumping and pushing, but yes, that song live, the “ooo! ooo!” especially, was AWESOME! Don’t Fuck with Youhei Kawakami Rock! Cat 2 (yes, ppl were moshing), Travel (it’s kinda funny, while most of ppl watch live with eyes open all the times, meanwhile me, sometimes there’s a part of the live song that i’d love to enjoy it whit my eyes close. For couple of seconds, I closed my eyes enjoying the reff part, while swinging my head) , This is Teenage, I remember I waved my hands over and over, 涙がこぼれそう, Kick and Spin , Maakun solo was asdfgjkujkkll…… Stimulator, Yeah Yeah Yeah, 言え(This song! yes this song! finally I could be in a part of “oooooooooooo” ), City that pointing2 fingers on rhytm ,Tokyo2pm36floor, HO!, Rise (my fave song from Me No Do Karate, there’s a moment where I closed my eyes (again)), Wanna Get Out, Plus Altra, Starrrrrrr!!!!!!! Yeaiyeiyeee! Forever Young (my 2013 anthem XD) , what surprised me and made me VERY VERY happy was, he inserted U2’s With or Without You in the end of the song, I was jumping over emotional like crazy since it was happened IN FRONT OF MY EYES! For Freedom, You’re So Sweet and I Love You, I didn’t predict they will sing this song! how did it feel when Youhei said “you’re so sweet and i love you”? ASDFJKLMGNJIKOLL……………………………………………………….. super happy. very happy. bencong gw seneeeeeng!
it’s double encore, actually it supposed to be over, but audiences still calling them, so then Youhei came out, with acoustic guitar, sang かえりみち, makjan, people were singing along with him, it was beautiful moment T________T .
Another story :
– [champagne] said that it was their first time doing one-man-live in Koriyama HipShot, that reminded me of NICO Touches the Walls, when I watched them a year ago in Shimizu, on the same date, yes, 29.09.2012, They said it too, that it was their first time having live in Shimizu. So I was like… It was on the same date,different year, different bands, different locations, talked about the same thing. Jodo? lol
– Maakun jumped off of the stage, and he jumped really closed to me, if the boy in front of me not pushed back, i should’ve reached him.
– Youhei teased Maakun, he said that Maakun didn’t talk much, but when he talked we couldn’t understand what he said. and Yes, when Maakun was giving a MC (?) he talked in speed, loudly, and screaming, and no one understood what he said! lol!.. then Youhei asked him to talked again in the other time, but he refused to talk, lol..
– There was a local cultural festival at that time, so there were lots of food stalls along the road :9
When live was over we headed back to Station to go to Fukushima Station, then catched the night bus (2 AM) to Tokyo.
[Champagne] live was too awesome for me, this type of live that I would love to fly and follow their tour (Would be good if their Tour period is the same with NICO, and would be better if I had money to do that, lol)
