Hi There!
I’m just going back from my less than 24-hour trip, attending TOKYO FM EARTH × HEART Project ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION × STRAIGHTENER ～10th Anniversary Asia Circuit～ in *SCAPE, Singapore, on Dec 20, 2013.
Me and my friend, finally decided to attend this live, and that was the BEST decision.
Took a flight from Jakarta at 11.25 PM , arrived at SG around 2 PM (SG Time). This time we’re in a group of 3, me, my friend, and my friend’s friend (whom I just knew and and met yesterday, and now she’s and my friend too). Plan to meet another friend who already at the venue but turns out to meet new friendS. Met two of my friends from KL (whom I’ve met them at OOR’s live too), a friend from Thai (whom I’ve already know her on twitter since last year, finally we met. She flew alone from Bangkok), and another new 3 Indonesian friends (each of them flew to SG alone, and finally we’re together after the show) . Ah, and we met the talkative guy from Australia who’s a big fan of AKG a fan of Tener.
We exchanged the tickets at the venue, but the organizer said that we had to wait the Sistic staffs at 6.30 PM, so yeah, we had to wait, so we chatted.. like all topics, and laughed. After got the printed tickets, we lined up based on our NUMBERED TICKETS! (oh yes, finally the glory of numbered tickets).
Got in to *SCAPE , I felt nostalgic, it’s my 4th time being there, and finally after more than a year, I came back there. my fave SG venue, cos it feels like Japan live house. yeay!
The first band was the local band, they played around half an hour. The members are young kids, from different countries.
Straightener came out after them. I saw them again. I put my backpack on the floor, cos I didn’t feel comfortable jumping with backpack on my back, and it’s not a packed show, and the crowd was not pushing, so, it’s safe to put it on the floor. Straightener’s live always impress me, the way they played their music was awesome, it’s smooth(?). They played all the songs that I want to see (and listen) again!.
This time I stood between Hinatch and Shinpei’s side, so I could pay more attention to them. Last Time in Hibiya, I only saw Horie, didn;t pay attention to others, but this time, HINATCH’s bass is CRAZY! He played like crazy! (and my friend said he’s mooooore crazy when he’s with NCIS). Cadas bok!
Shinpei banciiiiiiiiiiii! he was everywhere! smile and smile and smile and smile! banci!
Asian Kung-fu Generation, their live are awesome toooo! tbh, I didn’t familiar with AKG music, never watch AKG live concerts video, so this was my first time seeing their on stage for quite long, and I stunned. Gotoh is awesome! (which finally I made it to say to him when we shook hands), their live is awesome. they rock the house!
Show was over around 10.45 PM, finally we’re out of the venue around 11.45 PM, heading to changi airport cos we didn’t have a place to stay overnight. The changi group consists of 5 ppl + 1 additional person (not the concert attendees), who tagged with us for taxi sharing from Tanah Merah Station, since she’s alone, and waiting for her friends to pick her up.
So, instead of sleeping or resting at Changi, we spent our time to chat and laugh, a LOT! with many kinds of topic. and please note that from this group of 5, 3 of them I just knew them that day, but it looked like we have been friends for long time (even the additional person, thought that we’re from the same university, lol.. then we said, no, we just met each other today, cos we love music *like what Gotoh said in his MC* LOL

This event made me miss Japan’s live SO MUCH. This is what I’ve been missing since I went back from Japan last October. The feelings that came out when I watched the Live #indescribablefeelings
that’s why i love *SCAPE. and I’m hoping RAD concert will be there too.
That was a memorable trip and that was the most “see you when i see you” moment!
