Hi There!
– not a report, posted it for my memory’s sake only –
Yep, it’s me. Been years since my last post about gig.

August 19, 2014. My 4th time in Nippon Budokan.
NICO Touches the Walls Live in Budokan. I still remember when my friend sent me a pic of the tickets, I was literally rolling on the floor, cos the tickets were Arena! and quite front, an A !
Arrived quite early before mid noon. Kudanshita Station, nice to meet you again. There were already queue for goods and special Budokan CD Jacket for Tokyo Dreamer, so I was lining for goods, while my friend for CD (she got intervewed for NICOJAN!!, and we took a pic with the female announcer lol)

Cruel SummerThen, we’re waiting for the open gate.. outside. As you may know, Summer in Japan is sooo summer, even for tropical people like us. Ah, for me, that was the first time it wasn’t raining in Budokan.
Open gate, we got our seats, more likely to Sakkan’s position. so that’s how it feels being in Budokan Arena
Lights off. Micchan says konbanwa, NICO Touches the Walls desu! the intro of Broken Youth played, then he said Ikimasuyo Budokaaan! and the crowds were cheering.
I won’t write all the details, since it’s already on dvd, eventho some parts of the MC were cut off. So, I’ll only write some.
My fave part was when they played Bakemono, it was amazing. Micchan’s voice, should I say more? flawless, perfect, amazing, oh yes, I mean it. He could express his emotions through his voice, and the song is just perfect. you should check it out on their DVD, lol.
Heim, Mr. Echo and Bicycle, they played in acoustic. and again you know when NICO played in acoustic, they smashed it.
Hologram, Diver, never gets old. Te o tatake, Micchan asked audience to clap along and sing. Sakkan teased Micchan when he asked audince if his voice could be heard (it’s on dvd by the way)
Tenchi Gaeshi, fun song, there were paper falling from above, I couldnt say confetti since it wasn’t. hahaha..
I like Tokyo Dreamer, their new song (that time). N kyoku to N kyoku, was their closing song, again, never gets old.

After the show, we’re having subway……..hmmm.. okay I kinda forget was it happened after NICO’s or flumpool’s previous year? Sorry, I mixed up, it’s been yeaaarss. So, whatever, we didn’t take the train from the nearest station since it was so crowded with people, so my friend suggested us to walk to like one or two stations after. Well, yes you need to walk, but it’s japan, pedestrian-friendly. We reach the station, I didn’t know how far we walked but it was the station near the flyover road, and seriously, no loads of crowd like Kudanshita..
Arrived safely at our hostel in Bakurocho (RIP Khaosan Ninja, you’ll be missed T_T ), having a hot shower, then sleep.
We need to prepare ourselves for tomorrow festival in Shinkiba, UKFC on the Road, baby!
Sorry for my grammar, not a native, and not good in English either.
